Jock Safari Lodge is showing off after refurbishment

The famous warm welcome and sense of coming home to Jock Safari Lodge has been enhanced by the latest refurbishment

Traditional tones, brighter spaces and a new colour palette give the feeling of contemporary design without losing the warm & welcoming atmosphere for which Jock Safari Lodge is so well known.

All new is the Arrival Tent which will have guests feeling as if they have stepped back to the time of Sir Percy Fitzpatrick & the great African safaris.  Sink back into comfortable couches and chairs with your welcome drink and absorb the atmosphere, while your check-in and check-out is handled by our warm staff.  Take a breath, you have arrived in the Kruger National Park.  The Arrival Tent is also the new pre and post-game drive gathering spot.

Apart from general maintenance on decking and railing as well as retiling of private plunge pools and outdoor showers in the bedrooms, unnecessary fittings were removed so the lounge segment of the bedrooms are more spacious.  Bedroom interiors have been completely redone with soft furnishings and furniture.

Guests biggest decision will be spending time inside their luxury suite or living on their private decks that now have enclosed day salas that offer sleep out options under the African sky.  Additionally, guests can soak in the sights and sounds of the Kruger Park as they relax into refurbished Victorian Ball and Claw baths on their private decks.

A face lift for the dining area includes a modernised coffee station, new furniture, soft furnishing and flooring.  Stairs have been added for access to the river bed for the exclusive riverbed dining experience every third alternative evening in the warmer months.

The upstairs bar boasts all new soft furnishings, a modern firepit, a timeless drinks cabinet and more seating.

Glass sliding doors and extended roofing give much more of a sense of welcoming the outdoors in and the communal swimming pool is now heated too.

As always, we look forward to welcoming our guests to the Kruger National Park and Jock Safari Lodge.
